Article on the German Russian Front Volunteer Awards (part 2)

(M1096) A Norwegian Front Fighters Bravery Cross for 1941. Over the years, there has been much debate over these crosses. It has now been put forward that these are crosses originally manufactured for award to the Norwegian troops fighting against the Bolshevics, but as they were entitled to German awards, these crosses although issued, were shelved. It was then decided to use them for political purposes and the Norwegian tie pin emblem was soldered onto these crosses. Having said all this, these crosses are rare pieces of history and highly collectable.

GBP 495.00 (UK Pounds)
